Environment of, and Equipment Possessed by, the Department of Fashion Design
Every year, SHU-TE University allocates a significant portion of its budget to allow the latest sufficient equipment to be purchased for its teachers and students. The Department of Fashion Design has remained one of the University’s most distinguished departments since its founding. Thus, it has received a considerable amount of funding for the acquisition of relevant machinery and equipment. The Department considers the need of its students for diversified learning and thus plans sufficient learning spaces for its students, establishing laboratories such as hairstyle and make-up design, cosmetics, textile science, clothing composition, fashion accessory design, fashion planning, beauty care, and talent cultivation laboratories. These laboratories meet the equipment needs of teachers (when conducting research) and those of students (when receiving professional training).
